There's now an animated poop-emoji keyboard and we hope you're not eating right now

Have you ever wanted to message your friends about the consistency of your bowel movements, but strained to find the right words?

Well it's time to sit back and relax, as a new animated poop-emoji keyboard is here to do all the talking for you.

A product of Synergy Pharmaceuticals, the Poop Troop Emoji Keyboard gives both iPhone and Android owners access to 14 animated GIFs that embody the various potential forms of one's leavings.

Doody Dan, Runny Ron, Clogged Chris, and the adorable Squirt are just a few of the quirky characters found splashing about the keyboard.

Contrary to what you're probably thinking, these emoji were not the result of a hilarious made-for-TV mixup involving the 8-year-old son of some random Synergy Pharmaceuticals executive. Rather, the poop keyboard is about raising awareness.

Yep, it's time to talk about chronic idiopathic constipation!

"CIC is one of the most common functional gastrointestinal disorders worldwide, affecting approximately 33 million Americans and an estimated 14 percent of the global population," reads the Synergy Pharmaceuticals press release. "In addition to causing infrequent, hard stools and other physical symptoms such as straining, abdominal bloating and discomfort, CIC can adversely affect an individual’s quality of life, including increasing stress levels and anxiety."

These new animated emoji are meant to, at least in part, demystify what happens on the porcelain throne. But don't you dare for one moment think that the Poop Troop Emoji Keyboard brought to you by Synergy Pharmaceuticals is in any way a diagnostic tool.

“These emojis are not intended to serve as a diagnostic or a medical tool," explains physician assistant at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates Kimberly D. Orleck, "however the Poop Troop may provide patients with a more comfortable, visual way to communicate their physical symptoms and related state of mind to their healthcare provider, which then may lead to more productive conversation around their health and CIC treatment goals.”

Got that, people? These poop emoji are for fun only, but if they just so happen to help you talk with your doctor about the taxonomy of your fecal matter? Well that's a plus.

And if you just want to use them to spam your friends? That is a straight up win.
