Many women dream of their wedding day as a little girl. For Cindy, she was inspired by the dark and moody vibe of the Harry Potter. But we know for a fact her groom, Matt, never could have imagined how the day he said "I do" would turn out. Why? Well, he never even read the books before their February 20, 2016 nuptials.

But it's safe to say, even though he wasn't a fan of the series before the wedding (don't worry, he's since read and enjoyed them), he is now. One of the most magical details of the entire wedding was the invitations, which Cindy designed, printed and produced herself to look just like the Marauer's Map.

The "map" instructed guests that the wedding would take place in Hollywood Castle, which feels like a historic British fort, but is really located right outside of Los Angeles. It also encouraged their 97 guests to dress in "formal wizard-inspired clothing" - and the guests obliged. In fact, we'd say some went above and beyond the call of duty, like this friend.

After the ceremony, guests were instructed to put on a wizard's hat to be sorted into houses, and therefore given their dinner table seat assignments. Genius. The reception was decorated with the great halls of Hogwarts in mind and for dessert the couple served themed treats, like potion parfaits, chocolate wands and lightning bold-shaped cookies.

But the most magical part happened after dinner and inside the castle, where 100 "floating candles" hung above the dance floor. Sigh. We can't help but think that not even J.K. Rowling could have pulled off a Harry Potter-themed wedding this well.
