Lady Gaga's wedding dress: We've had some ideas for her big day

After announcing her engagement to talent agent Christian Carino, Lady Gaga is set to tie the knot.

She referred to Carino as her fiance for the first time during a speech earlier this year at Elle's Women in Hollywood event.

And with Gaga being the eccentric and transformative style icon she is, we're now wondering just what look she'll go for when she walks down the aisle.

Who will design Lady Gaga's wedding dress?

Over the years, Gaga has pushed style boundaries with outlandish looks, like her infamous VMAs meat dress and her beloved Alexander McQueen platform armadillo boots, wearing couture as if she was born in it, from numerous sheer lace bodysuits to glitzy avant-garde gowns.

Gaga has also used the most minimal of fashion pieces to convey powerful messages, including her oversized Marc Jacobs suit as a symbol of “taking back power” and Joanne-era millennium pink hat that signified a shift in personal growth.

Whether she’s going for high glamour or dressing down, Gaga loves using fashion as an extension of her artistry and has embraced a slew of high fashion brands along the way. Gaga will probably receive custom wedding sketches from dozens of designers, as she did with her previous engagement back in 2015.

We’ve gathered some of our own ideas from the runway for the big day - including her favorite designers, like Brandon Maxwell and Versace, a chic pantsuit by Viktor & Rolf and daring Atelier Pronovias lace jumpsuit, as well as embellished haute couture looks from Chanel and Vera Wang that have Mrs Gaga written all over them.
