Appeal after man struck by car in Hagley Road hit-and-run

Police are appealing for information after a man was struck by a car in a hit-and-run collision on Birmingham's Hagley Road. The incident happened near Fountain Road junction at around 5pm on Sunday, March 31.

The victim suffered head and serious leg injuries. Police said another man was seen leaving the scene with a woman in a car believed to be a Mercedes A Class.

West Midlands Police today issued a public appeal asking for potential witnesses to contact the force. The appeal read: "Can you help?

"We're appealing for information after a man was hit by a car at around 5pm in Hagley Road, Birmingham, on March 31. He suffered head and serious leg injuries.
