Typically Apple campaigns focus on what people can do with the devices the company sells, but for Earth Day on Saturday April 22nd, the Cupertino-based company created a series of animated videos, unlike any other Apple ad created to date.

Apple put its own employees, who talked up the different ecofriendly initiatives the company is running, at the center of the campaign, which has very un-Apple like humor and self-mockery.

One of the spots, titled "Why does Apple make its own sweat?" (watch it in full below), describes how the company decided to start making its own artificial sweat when one of the creators dips a finger in the bottle of artificial sweat to taste it.

The other three videos, released on YouTube, each talk about a different initiative: how Chinese solar farms produce enough electricity for its stores and offices, how nothing from its China assembly lines goes to landfills, and how Apple Park is reducing the company's cooling load.

The company worked with artist James Blagden to create the animated videos.
