Apple Investigating iPad Pro Freezing Bug: Here’s How To Fix It

Apple is currently working on a fix for a bug that has left some iPad Pro tablets frozen after being recharged.

Many users took to Apple forums, social media and Reddit to report similar problems with their super-sized tablets, where they failed to power up after being plugged into a charger.

Apple later confirmed the problem, posting an online statement reading: “Apple is aware of this issue and is investigating”.

The problem doesn’t appear to be limited to one type of the tablet with users of the 32GB and 128GB models, both 4G and Wi-Fi only, being affected by the issue.

In the meantime, the tech giant has offered a quick-fix for iPad Pro users whose tablets are unresponsive, saying:

“To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

The large iPad Pro sports a massive 12.0-inch Retina display and went on sale on 11 November with prices starting a £679.
