Apple has unveiled its new iPhone 12 with 5G, tougher glass and a brighter display.

The device has been designed with rounded-edged and boasts a ceramic shield which is 4 times more durable when dropped.
Other key features include a new bionic chip — “the fastest ever in an iPhone” — USBC to lightning cable charging and magnets which allow wallets and other products to be clipped on to the back to it.
Millions tuned into the live even from Apple park in Silicon Valley, which also saw the iPhone 12 mini and the Home Pod mini launched.
5G
Apple said 5G will be brought in across all models in the new line up.
CEO Tim Cook said: “The Next Generation is here. Today, we’re bringing 5G to iPhone.”
He claims it will bring more responsive gaming, faster upload and download speeds even in densely connected areas.
“Each generation of cellular network technology on iPhone has enabled breakthrough innovations… and 5G is the most exciting step yet,” he added.
CEO of network provider Verizon, Hans Vestberg added: "Until now most people take a wait and see approach - they have been waiting for 5G to get real.
"Today the wait is over. 5G just got real. "
