This winter's Arrowverse crossover 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' is not only bringing back a major character, but also introducing a new one.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Elizabeth Tulloch is on board this helter-skelter adventure as Lois Lane, who she first played in last year's 'Elseworlds' crossover episodes for The Flash and Supergirl.

By the end of that three-parter, Clark Kent and Lois had relocated to Argo City, the last remnant of his home planet Krypton, as Lois had fallen pregnant.

Which brings us to the next bit of news, as it's also been confirmed that 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will unveil Clark and Lois' baby – could this be Jon Kent, who grows up to become Superboy?

Meanwhile, Arrowverse actor Brandon Routh (The Atom) will be joining the superhero ranks of this year's crossover too, but he'll actually be donning the Superman cape instead.

Yes that's right, the guy who played the Man of Steel in 2006's Superman Returns is once again proving a man can fly.

Incredibly confusing, we know, but this is one of the fun and topsy-turvy reasons why 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will be unmissable.
