Arsenal XI vs Brighton: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Mikel Arteta has made just one change to his side for Arsenal’s trip to Brighton with Granit Xhaka out injured.

Xhaka injured his knee during last Sunday’s 3-1 win over Tottenham and he will not be back in action until the end of December.

Arteta had the option of playing Thomas Partey in a midfield-three with Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe either side of him.

However, the Arsenal boss has instead handed Albert Sambi Lokonga more minutes, allowing him to keep the 4-2-3-1 shape that worked so well against Spurs.

Arsenal have no other injury concerns going into the weekend, which is a boost for Arteta.
