Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, whether you like it or not.

For folk lucky enough to be loved-up, it’s a perfect excuse to feed your other half these heart-shaped crumpets from Asda.

For inhabitants of Singletown, it’s a great excuse to eat an entire packet of these heart-shaped crumpets from Asda smothered in whatever the hell you fancy, without being judged or asked, “Don’t you think you’ve had enough crumpets?”

Both nice options, tbh.

Asda has brought back the romantic crumpets in time for 14 February, and fans of the romantic hole-y bakery treats are going bananas for them on Instagram.

Kev’s Snack Reviews shared a photo of them, so we know you can get your hands on the crumpets, which are a “perfect breakfast in bed” and “made with love”, right now. Each four-pack costs £1, and lasts around three days once opened, so you’ll have to buy them nearer to the time if you’re looking to serve them on Valentine’s Day.

If your other half is less-enthused by crumpets, and more of a chicken nugget fan, you may want to give one of these nugget bouquets a go instead.

Yup, people have started replacing flowers with nuggets for the ultimate token of love.

To make a chicken nugget bouquet, you need around two dozen nuggets and wooden sticks to build the bundle. Once you have a full bouquet, wrap the outside with cellophane (no one likes greasy hands on Valentine’s Day), and complete with a bow.

If you’re feeling fancy, use French fries (you also need to know where the receiver gets their favourite ones) as the baby’s breath of the bouquet.
