Yahoo News Ashlee Simpson is pregnant with her third child
Congratulations are in order for singer Ashlee Simpson and her husband, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay actor Evan Ross.
The couple have announced that they are expecting their second child together.
Ashlee and Evan shared the happy news on Instagram, in partnership with pregnancy test brand Clearblue.
Posting an image of the pair smiling, with Ashlee holding her positive pregnancy test, the singer wrote: "We are pregnant and we are so excited to share it with everyone. Baby #3 Thank you @clearblue.
"During this unprecedented time, we know pregnant women may be under greater stress which is why we are supporting @marchofdimes Mom and Baby #COVID19 Intervention and Support Fund.
"Check out their Instagram page to see how they are helping moms and babies get the care they need now and in the future."
Ashlee and Evan married in 2014 and are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Jagger. Ashlee also has an 11-year-old son, Bronx, from her marriage to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.
In 2018, the couple appeared on The Raw Word with Claudia Jordan, where they expressed their desire to expand their family.
"I'd love more kids. We're definitely having another one," Evan said (via E!).
"I want to finish this album and then definitely, for sure," Ashlee added. "Definitely one more, and then we'll see what happens after that."
Speaking about their children's personalities, Ashlee said: "Bronx is creative and sweet and he's got an old soul. And Jagger is the boss.
"She's already like, ‘Give me the microphone and the shiny dresses and I am going to be [Grandma]'."
And by the way, "grandma" is the one and only Diana Ross.
