Ashley Benson is hitting back at claims that she's using Ozempic to lose weight.

On Monday, June 17, Benson, 34, clapped at comments accusing her of being on the type 2 diabetes drug following the birth of her daughter in February after she posted a mirror selfie earlier in the day.

In the Instagram photo, the actress posed in front of a mirror in a dressing room as she wore a red cap and sunglasses, black tank top and gray sweatpants. “My fav hat," she captioned the shot.

The snap sparked remarks over her appearance in the comments section, with one person writing, “How was she JUST pregnant?!?” as another responded by posting a photo of an Ozempic advert — citing the drug that has become popular in Hollywood for weight loss as the reason.

“Comments like this are so funny to me,” Benson wrote as she reposted the comments with the Ozempic photo on her Instagram Stories.

“I know a lot of people take ozempic and that's totally fine. To each their own. But don't discredit people who also work very hard to get their body back like I've done with mine,” the Pretty Little Liars star continued.

“Getting back to work forced me to focus on my health and working out and I wanted to feel confident and good about myself. And again couldn't do this without my @melissawoodtepperberg app,” Benson concluded, tagging the health and wellness app.

Benson and her husband Brandon Davis announced the birth of their daughter on February 29. PEOPLE confirmed the couple were expecting their first child in the same month they were confirmed to have tied the knot in July 2023.

Benson gave an update on new motherhood while speaking to PEOPLE at the VIP launch event for the CYBEX by Jeremy Scott Car Collection in Los Angeles on June 5.

“I’m a new mom, so that’s been very fun,” she told PEOPLE earlier this month.

The star added that her baby girl already loves dressing up, saying, “Oh my God, it's so much fun. She's mostly in little cute onesies and stuff, but we're taking her on vacation at the end of the summer, so I have all of her little dresses and the accessories. I mean, it's so much fun,” adding, “Having a girl is the best.”
