Baby hurt in Stoke-on-Trent crash

A baby has been taken to hospital for treatment after a two-car crash. Staffordshire Police, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the collision, on Leek Road, in Hanley.

Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were dispatched to the scene. The two-car collision happened just after 6.05pm on Friday 28 June.

An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Leek Road. Crews found two cars had been involved in a collision. Two women and a child from one car were assessed by ambulance staff. One woman and the child were treated for injuries not believed to be serious while the second woman was treated for minor injuries. They were all taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."
