Baker Makes Edible Christmas Jumper Featuring Chocolate Rudolph

If you don’t get enough turkey this Christmas, there is a solution: just take a bite out of your jumper.

A professional baker has created an edible Christmas jumper, complete with chocolate Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.

Juliet Sear made the tasty sweater from 10kg of icing, 5kg of marzipan and 1kg of chocolate - and every single part of the jumper is edible.

Just don’t fall asleep in it in front of the fire after Christmas dinner.

The jumper took more than 50 hours to make the item of clothing. Ms Sear, the founder of Fancy Nancy bakery in Essex, teamed up with baking brand Dr Oetker to create the edible jumper.

Like the best Christmas jumpers, it is red and green, only decorated with edible snowflakes instead of wool. It was made from a gingerbread base.

“Nothing excites me more than an edible challenge,” said Ms Sear on her website.

“I love the creativity and fun involved in bringing people’s ideas to life through the medium of food.”
