The Great British Bake Off fans will have not one but TWO Christmas specials this year, and we now know which of our favourite former bakers are taking part.

The Channel 4 series is bringing together eight contestants from the BBC years to compete in front of judges Prue Leith, for the first time of course, and Paul Hollywood.

So, who's heading to the tent this holiday season?

Rob Billington, from all the way back in 2011's second series, makes a return, as does Beca Lyne-Pirkis from series four.

Series six's Paul Jagger (above), best known as the creator of the bread lion, is back, alongside Sandy Docherty from the same year.

The final four contestants come from the BBC's last series: Selasi Gbormittah (below), Val Stones, Benjamina Ebuehi and Rav Bansal are all taking part.

The first episode will see Beca, Paul, Selasi and Val battle it out, with Rob, Sandy, Benjamina and Rav in episode two.

Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig will present as usual, as the bakers take on numerous seasonal challenges.

The Great Christmas Bake Off's Christmas special will air on Channel 4 during the holiday season next month. Oh, and Prue? No tweeting.
