A Hackney bar is marking the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi this week by turning itself into the film series’ most infamous drinking hole: the Mos Eisley Cantina.

Behind This Wall on Mare Street has been transformed into the drinking spot, also known as Chalmun’s Spaceport Cantina and notorious for its clientele.

The bar, which first appeared in the original Star Wars in 1977, is located in the spaceport of Mos Eisley, described by Sir Alec Guinness’s character Obi-Wan Kenobi as a “wretched hive of scum and villainy”, on the planet Tatooine.

It is where Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), accompanied by Kenobi, first meets Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew). Behind This Wall’s themed cocktails include the Obi-Wan Cannoli.
