Across Barnsley, a large number of candidates have put their names forward to become the next MPs for the area in the election on July 4.

Barnsley has a total of three seats, with each of them now facing election. As a result, candidates from a variety of political parties have put their names forward and are campaigning on local, national and international issues.

This also marks the first election held using new seat boundaries, meaning its important you know exactly which seat you now find yourself in.
