Bashor Children's Home honors its staff

Mar. 27—GOSHEN — Bashor Children's Home celebrated its staff at the annual staff banquet held over the weekend.

The event served as a platform to recognize and honor those who help improve the lives of vulnerable youth. Bashor provides support for troubled children.

President and CEO Sean McCrindle said he was thankful for "the unwavering commitment of the staff." He acknowledged the demanding nature of their work, and said Bashor endeavors to support and acknowledge its employees.

"We appreciate our staff so much and their dedication; it's such a demanding career," he said. "Celebrating and supporting our people is a huge focus of our organization on top of helping hundreds of kids every year."

The awards ceremony highlighted people who exemplify the core values of Bashor Children's Home and go above and beyond in their roles.

Receiving the Rookie of the Year award were: Vance Giles, Corrinda Jordan, Krista Williams and Seth Jordan.

Receiving staff awards were: Isidro Clara, Tony Barrett, Stephanie Miller and J. Wise.
