BBC's Children in Need 2018 announces presenters

The BBC's Children in Need night has announced its starry line-up for the 2018 edition, with a load of established presenters returning.

This year's evening will be see Rob Beckett join the fold alongside familiar faces Graham Norton, Tess Daly, Mel Giedroyc, Ade Adepitan, Rochelle and Marvin Humes.

Children in Need 2018 will take place on Friday, November 16 as the line-up tries to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

"I am so excited to be presenting BBC Children in Need this year," Beckett, host of All Together Now, said. "It's a British institution and a wonderful charity, so to be asked to help out is a huge honour. My parents are gonna be bursting with pride. I also get to meet Pudsey! I can't wait!"

Norton added: "I love presenting the live show of BBC Children in Need and I look forward to welcoming Rob Beckett to the team, in what will be a night full of celebrating some of most brave and inspirational children."

Children in Need's 2018 edition officially launched a few weeks ago, with stars such as Matt Baker, Alex Jones, Stacey Dooley, Daly, Mollie King, Ore Oduba, The Vamps and Peter Andre challenging people to Do Your Thing to raise money.

There will also be Children in Need Rocks on November 7 at the SSE Arena, Wembley, which will feature Rod Stewart, George Ezra, Jess Glynne, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Olly Murs and Rita Ora. To purchase tickets, click here.

Last year's Children in Need raised a whopping £50,168,562 during the 2017 telethon.

The Children in Need telethon airs on Friday, November 16 across BBC One and BBC Two.
