The Sun on Sunday reported the news via a source today, and the popular host has taken to social media to confirm she ‘with child’.

A source close to McGovern told the Sun the star and her partner were ‘absolutely thrilled’ at the news.
The source said: “Steph and her girlfriend are absolutely thrilled.
“Everyone at the Beeb is delighted too - she is one of the most popular faces on and off the red sofa.
“But she won’t be doing any magazine shoots any time soon — she values her privacy too much.”

The source also revealed the star, whose partner is a TV executive: ‘suffered really badly with morning sickness’ adding: “She was sick recently, just seconds before going on air.”
McGovern has previously addressed people assuming she was pregnant was just part of ‘life on camera’, saying: “I’d definitely be in the wrong job if I got offended by comments like that.
“Even my own auntie asked me once if I was pregnant after seeing me on the telly that’s just life on camera.”
It is believed McGovern will give birth in November.
