Hit BBC One reality TV series The Traitors, which many viewers love, is set to get a celebrity version. It has been reported that the celebrity version of the show will air on BBC One in 2025.

Deadline has reported that several sources have said that an agreement between Studio Lambert which makes the UK and U.S. versions of The Traitors, and the BBC, which broadcasts it, is close. The hope is that the first celeb version will film next year and go out later in 2025, by which time three seasons of the “civilian” version will have aired.

It is expected that host Claudia Winkleman, who is a hit with viewers for her iconic looks and quick wit, will continue to host the celebrity version. Given the roster of big-name Traitors fans, with many celebrities also loving the show, Deadline has said the BBC has big ambitions for the caliber of guests it could attract and will be aiming high.
