Countryfile's Adam Henson has shared a touching update with fans on social media, revealing the mixed emotions he's experienced after losing one of his beloved horses but also celebrating new life on the farm. On Saturday June 14, the presenter posted about the "sad passing" of his horse Victoria and the arrival of a new foal.

Adam expressed his sorrow and joy in an Instagram post, saying: "After the sad passing of Victoria last week, I'm delighted to share the news that my #SuffolkPunch mare, Lexy, has given birth to a beautiful #colt."

He went on to explain that the newborn is thriving and will spend time bonding with its mother under the care of local expert breeders before returning to Cotswold Farm Park.

Fans were quick to respond to Adam's news, with one commenting: "How gorgeous is he? Sorry for your loss of Victoria xx" Another fan admired the foal's strength, writing: "Wow he's a little smasher he's got some lovely strong legs and a beautiful face."

The cycle of life was highlighted by another follower who said: "So sorry for your loss but how wonderful is life to then to give you this gift," Echoing the sentiment, another added: "What a little Bute , we have had some lovely new season foals at my local Suffolk punch trust home at Woodbridge.
