BBC Death in Paradise fan confirms return of beloved characters at real Catherine's Bar

A devoted fan of the popular BBC series, Death in Paradise, has shared their exciting experience of visiting the real-life location of Catherine's Bar, a fictional spot featured prominently on the show.

The ecstatic viewer took to a Death in Paradise Facebook fan page to recount their adventure at the actual site of Catherine's Bar, where they even had the chance to meet some of the star-studded cast.

The fan also hinted at the return of two beloved characters - Dwayne Myers, portrayed by Danny-John Jules and his father played by Ram John Holder.

Dwayne made an appearance in the final episode of the most recent series, which marked the departure of Neville Parker, who is played by Ralf Little and Josephine Jobert's character, Florence Cassell.

As his colleagues sailed off into the sunset, Dwayne bid them farewell with a wave, the Express reports.

Following Ralf's unexpected exit, BBC executives announced that Don Gilet would be stepping into his shoes, with filming currently in progress with the new Detective Inspector.

Cast members frequently share behind-the-scenes photos on social media. In a recent post by Don Warrington, he uploaded a picture of the Commissioner and the new detective standing outside the police station.y

The actor also appeared to confirm the comeback of Ginny Holder, who portrays Darlene Curtis.

Some die-hard fans even make the journey to the Caribbean to catch a glimpse of the cast filming the BBC series.

One particularly fortunate fan managed to snap some behind-the-scenes pictures, which he shared on the Facebook fan page, featuring himself alongside Danny-John Jules and his on-screen father, Ram.

In one snap, the fan is seen standing on a beach alongside a grinning Danny, who's casually dressed in beige trousers and a white tank top, topped off with a straw hat. The caption read: "The legend."

Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments section, with one writing: "Mucho jealous Gary."

Another replied: "Hello, stranger! Hope you have a lovely holiday."

The fan then shared another photo in the comments section featuring Dwayne Myers' father. Ram was also all smiles as he posed on set dressed in a pink floral shirt, brown trousers, and a flat cap.

Dwayne's dad Nelson hasn't made an appearance in the series for a while as the pair sailed off together to go travelling. However, it's now being speculated whether his return will be short lived as Dwayne previously admitted his father wasn't well.
