BBC EastEnders star Danny Dyer announced for Liverpool Comic Con 2024

Liverpool Comic Con has announced Danny Dyer as a guest at this year's convention.

Comic book lovers, sci-fi fans and cosplay enthusiasts will be able to meet their favourite celebrities when the convention arrives at the Exhibition Centre on May 4-5. Orlando Bloom has already been confirmed as the headline guest for for next month's event.

The Actor will be joined by Lord of the Rings co-stars Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, Bernard Hill and Miranda Otto. Many other huge stars will be meeting fans at the event including John Cleese and Kevin Smith.

A post on the event's official Facebook page has now confirmed Danny Dyer will also be in attendance on the Sunday. It said: "COMIC CON LIVERPOOL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT - DANNY DYER

"EastEnders, The Football Factory, Kiss of Death . Appearing Sunday only!"

Fans took to the comments in excitement after the update. Donna said: "Oooooh I love Danny Dyer this is awesome."

Mell added: "My god I love this man." Kerry posted: "I love Danny Dyer! Football Factory is one of my favourite films."

Alana posted: "Oh my days!!!! Great lineup this year gutted I can't come"
