BBC Celebrity Gladiators lineup as Alex Scott, Ebanie Bridges and Nigel Farage tipped for new series.

The smash BBC show Gladiators is making a comeback with a celebrity special - and the likes of BBC Sport star Alex Scott and 'blonde bomber' boxer Ebanie Bridges are being tipped by the bookies to be lining up against the likes of Sabre and Diamond. The BBC has confirmed series 2 of the Gladiators following the enormous success of series one, which was filmed at Sheffield Arena and hosted by Bradley and Barney Walsh with stars like Legend and Sabre being breakout favourites.

Now bookies NoKYC has revealed the list of contenders being tipped for a celebrity special, which will form part of series 2. Leeds lad and former Manchester City star Micah Richards is the clear favourite in the betting at 2/1, followed by lockdown fitness guru Joe Wicks. Other stars, like Leeds United superfan boxer-cum-Onlyfans star Ebanie Bridges and Match of the Day presenter Alex Scott are also high up on the list.

Politicians including Nigel Farage, Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson are also on the list, although rank outsiders, reports Yorkshire Live.

Liam Solomon, Head of PR for NoKYC commented on the list of celebs: "Mr Muscle Micah Richards is odds on favourite to star in the Celebrity version of the hit BBC show. Fitness fanatic Joe Wicks is also a strong contender to take on the Gladiators, closely followed by bodybuilder Eddie Abbew.Rank outsiders Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock would make essential TV viewing. The duo have already turned their hands at eating bugs in Australia, but many Brits would certainly want to see both take a hiding from the hunky Gladiators."
