Glastonbury viewers pointed out the same issue as the Sugababes graced the stage tonight.

The famous music festival is in full flow as thousands of people have descended on Worthy Farm. Dua Lipa is headlining the Pyramid Stage on Friday.

The pop star is just one of hundreds of musicians performing at the Somerset festival. The Sugababes proved to be one of the most popular acts today as the iconic girl band thrilled fans at the West Holt Stage.

Viewers watching the BBC coverage of the festival were thrilled with the performance which saw original members Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena, and Keisha Buchanan take to the stage. Fans were so eager to see the girl group that organisers had to close off pathways to get to the stage due to the sheer number of people who had packed in to see them.

It is the second time the Sugababes have generated such a reaction and fans on social media platform X said they needed to be upgraded to a bigger stage next time. One fan said the performance was so good that it brought those in attendance to tears.

Niamh said: "love how sugababes were so popular at glasto in 2022 there wasn’t enough room on the field outside the stage to see them and now look at the crowd at the west holts stage, they need a slot on the pyramid stage asap"

Wendy added: "Sugababes deserved the Pyramid stage. Absolutely brilliant."

@theproperkp commented: "There are gonna be a lot "stars" that I guarantee will NOT sound as good as the #Sugababes have at #Glastonbury. Bigger stage, better timeslot next year and they'll bang even harder."

Sam posted: "Caught up with Sugababes' set at #Glastonbury after seeing them trending - honestly go find it on iPlayer if you missed it. Overload was incredible, a sensational cover of Flowers, every single banger was there. Deserved a bigger stage than West Holts - iconic."

Rebecca posted: "Omg the crowd for Sugababes is insane it's HUGE this is the 2nd time Glastonbury have put them on a stage too small they should be on mainstage. Sound awesome and the band aswel"

Amelia said: "UNREAL Sugababes set, they need a bigger stage!! Everyone cried when Mutya started singing Ugly, just banger after banger"
