BBC Morning Live fans say the same thing about Jason Manford minutes into show

Jason Manford was welcomed warmly by co-host Gaby Roslin during his inaugural stint on BBC Morning Live.

Before stepping up to the plate, Jason shared some friendly banter with Gethin Jones, who cheered him on with a supportive note. In return, Jason reassured him that he was "keeping his seat warm" for him.

With great enthusiasm about being part of the Morning Live crew, Jason hinted mischievously that he might stir up a little "bring a little chaos" on the set.

After his appearance, viewers took to various social media channels with their opinions on his presenting style.

The Express reported that @MichelleBoudin_ posted on X, previously known as Twitter: "'Crikey I've got a stitch' .. Blumming love you @JasonManford. Strictly will be on the phone soon." (sic)

Another tickled user, @boodlesjw, tweeted: "@JasonManford. You've just made my morning doing that dancing. I was crying with laughter at your facial expressions."

User @Carolin44283794 congratulated Jason: "You did really well," and @JanetCu36864508 flattered him saying: "@JasonManford my goodness you look [fire emoji] this morning. You're an absolute natural - you look very comfortable presenting." (sic)

Twitter user @leahhmariee93 couldn't hide their excitement, tweeting: "Stunning to wake up to @JasonManford on my TV," and went on to say, "There's definitely perks to falling asleep at 3am with the TV still on. Also, pasta at not even 10.30am is absolutely how I want to live." (sic)

Following the BBC's announcement of his guest appearance, the 43-year-old comedian shared his joy: "I'm delighted to have been asked to guest co-host Morning Live this week. I always love supporting a Manchester-based show and every time I've been on as a guest, the team has always been a real pleasure to work with."

He also added with a hint of mischief: "I'm looking forward to bringing a little chaos to the sofa once we go live! " Fans of the funnyman will be thrilled to learn that the Beeb has confirmed he'll be back for more fun on Wednesday, July 3, joining forces with Helen Skelton to present the programme.

Meanwhile, Gethin Jones alongside Helen Skelton are gearing up to take back their regular spots on the famous couch starting Monday, July 1.
