BBC Morning Live’s Helen Skelton supported as she announces break from TV

Helen Skelton has been inundated with support from fans as she announced that she is taking a brief break from Morning Live.

The former Strictly Come Dancing host joined the BBC breakfast show in December last year alongside presenters Gethin Jones and Michelle Ackerle.

This week, Helen Skelton took to Instagram and announced that she's taking a break for a “few weeks' '. Sharing the news with her followers, she shared a montage of her recent on-screen outfits.

Alongside the post, she wrote: "We are having a little holiday @bbcmorninglive. Last day for a couple of weeks is tomorrow. Thanks for your company. Thanks for sharing your stories. Thanks for inviting us into your living rooms. @gethincjones @michelle_ackerley @ravwilding #morningtelly #morninglive #bbc #manchester."

Fans took to the comment section and flooded the former Blue Peter presenter with sweet messages. @Terryblueyonder Tweeted: “What a beautiful lady and a wonderful warm smile always.”

@pistol0324l commented: “Wow Helen, you're a beautiful and amazing woman, love ya.” @Willkirk30 wrote: “Such an amazing woman and I think role model for women in general & so stunning & beautiful.”

@ianclarke149 said: “You always look amazing Helen, also a genuinely lovely human being, a very special young Lady and Mama."

While @Cavey1932 added: “Love this lady… way back to the BP days she's fantastic and I wish her well in everything she does.”

It comes as Helen recently reunited with her former Strictly Come Dancing co-stars after pro dancers Dianne Buswell, Vito Coppola and Neil Jones appeared on Morning Live and her visit to Bridgewater Hall for the Strictly tour.

Updating her followers, she took to social media and shared a number of snaps alongside the dancers and wrote: "Something very special about that group of dancers ..... total joy to watch you guys do what you do best in @strictlycomedancinglive with the @bbcmorninglive gang. Still smiling having seen you light up the stage. Congratulations @jasongilkison ... for what it's worth Ken No.1 got my vote @gorka_marquez."

It didn’t take long for fans to flood the comment section with reaction to the reunion. @trahoney wrote: “You were all so lovely to the public last night, having photos and speaking to people at the Lowry. The show was incredible!”

While @Fanny_lane52 added: “Loved seeing your jive on Tour brought to life by @jowitaprzystal and @gorka_marquez and yes I voted for Gorka as Ken.”
