The One Show presenter Alex Jones revealed she was getting 'emotional' as she packed up boxes in preparation to leave her family home. The Welsh BBC presenter, 47, lives in a Victorian property in London with her husband Charlie and their three children, Teddy, Kit and Annie.

They moved into the property over a decade ago before any of their children were born and completely renovated the property at the time. But Alex revealed it was time for a change and they were moving to a new home.

Alex gave fans an insight into her life as she packed up her possessions into boxes and wrote: "This was emotional. After 11 years, we're MOVING HOUSE. Would love any packing tips you have??."

Alex said in the video, uploaded to Instagram: "So here's a bit of news We are actually moving house. Aaaargh. So in three weeks time.

"I'm finding it a little bit emotional...It feels cleansing but it feels quite emotional."

Alex went through some of her most prized possessions in the video, opening her children's memory boxes full of their baby tags and even homemade cards from their siblings welcoming them into the world. She also showed off some of their artwork from over the years and revealed she wants to have them scanned and turned into a book for the special memories.

Alex has not revealed where the family are moving to but it has to be somewhere special to get them to leave behind the home they lovingly renovated in 2016. The couple made sure to maintain many of the period features, including log burners and sash windows.

Alex and Charlie moved out of the property for ten months in 2016 to have it renovated, with the star telling fans she "couldn't be happier" with the result.
