BBC The One Show's Alex Jones says 'he has my heart' in sweet family update

The One Show presenter Alex Jones has shared a sweet update as the family marks a milestone. The Welsh star took to Instagram as she celebrated her son Kit's fifth birthday.

Kit is Alex and her husband Charlie Thomson's second child, the pair welcomed Kit on May 13 in 2019, and also share Teddy seven, and two-year-old daughter Annie. Sharing a black and white snap on her Instagram Story, the 47-year-old marked her son's birthday with her 354k followers.

Planting a kiss on Kit's cheek as she wrapped her arms around the little one, Alex wrote: "He has my heart. This is 5." To protect their brood's privacy, Alex and Charlie make sure to hide their children's faces in all social media updates, but the Welsh presenter often shares family insights with her social media followers.

The sweet post comes after Alex and Charlie shared a photo of Kit's epic football-themed birthday over the weekend. In the snap, Charlie could be seen carrying out a cake as the children and parents tucked into some party food.

However, in a relatable parenting post, Alex captioned the picture: "So lovely, but sooo tired. Collapsed in front of Eurovision." And the fun didn't stop there, as the family also enjoyed a "Sunday funday" a the fair.
