Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima has reunited with his family for the first time in months. The Italian dancer has left the UK to spend some rare downtime with his family at his home in Sicily.

Graziano, 30, has had a busy schedule after the end of the hit BBC show, taking part in three tours including the Strictly tour taking place across the UK. He shared a photo with his family as they all beamed together.

He wrote: "After 6 months, 3 Tours and more than 100 Shows.. I’m finally reunited with my FAMILY #blessed #grateful," adding a love heart emoji. It comes after the Latin champion revealed a terrible tragedy had hit his family when he was bonr.

Graziano revealed that he almost died at birth and had a twin brother who had died. Speaking to Hello Magazine in 2018, he said: “I was born prematurely and had a twin brother, who sadly died.

“I was so weak that it was uncertain whether I would survive. I was lucky, though, and my parents named me Graziano, which means ‘thank you’.”

His co-stars and fans were quick to comment on the emotional reunion with his family, with Strictly dancer Vito Coppola writing: "Bellissimiiiiii. This is what happiness looks like."

Pro dancer Karen Hauer added: "Bless you, enjoy." marisa.contino added: "Enjoy it, family spent with family is precious. well done. You have worked hard well deserved rest."

Graziano, who joined the show in 2018, is a smitten husband, having married fellow dancer Giada Lini in 2022. They had dated for eight years before the wedding in Sicily attended by 200 guests including fellow Strictly stars Nadiya Bychkova, Karim Zeroual, and Chizzy Akudolu on the guest list.

Graziano previously revealed how he knew Giada was perfect for him, saying: “Since we met each other eight years ago, I knew she was The One – I fell in love instantly. She is the most extraordinary woman I have ever met.

"The fact we have got married in Sicily, my town, after two years of postponing the wedding with all our family and our friends to witness – it was a feeling so strong. I was watching everything around me as though I was 10 years old again when I used to live here, but I’m a man now and I’ve married Giada."
