Ellie Leach shared an adorable statement with her fans and followers as she was seen reuniting with dance partner Vito Coppola. The Strictly Come Dancing winners recently enjoyed a dinner together alongside Vito's lookalike brother.
It's been months now since Ellie, 23, and Vito, 31, lifted the coveted glitterball trophy as they were crowned champions of the BBC One dance contest's 2023 series following a close finale with Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
Despite having emotionally gone their separate ways earlier this year having toured the country with some of their 2023 series co-stars after being crowned last year's dancing champions and lifting the Glitterball trophy, Ellie and Vito continue to show they have remained great friends by publicly showing each other support and updating fans when they've back in each other's company.

And last week there was one of those occasions as they were enjoying Italian antipasto and delicious-looking pasta dishes with Vito's younger brother, Jonathan. "Hello everyone, happy Sunday!" Vito started a video posted to his Instagram Story. "I'm here with my brother, my little brother Jonathan, but we're here together with Miss Ellie Leach," he added as he panned the camera to show himself and Ellie smiling for the camera next to one another.
"We are going to eat this beautiful antipasto starter now," he said as he showed off the plate of food while going through the list of what they were expecting for their mains. Ellie laughed at her pal's attention to detail while Jonathan sweetly waved to the camera.
After tucking into their mains, which Vito expertly showed and explained on camera, he and Ellie were seen enjoying a shot glass full of Limoncello.
Ellie has now shared a photo of the pair taken during the recent meet-up to her Instagram page and was left gushing over her friend. The former Coronation Street star said alongside the beaming selfie to her 427,000 followers: "Spending time with people who are good for your soul." She then added: "Love you @vitocoppola."
While Vito didn't respond, his brother left a red love heart in the comments section while Strictly co-star Dianne Buswell said: "Two gorjis." Fellow 2023 contestant Zara McDermott commented: "Angels," alongside a string of red love hearts while Ellie's actress cousin Brooke Vincent responded with two love heart eyes emojis.
And fans were also quick to gush over the pair. @julie_hawkes1 said: "Love seeing you spending time with each other." @fulhaml commented: "Believe you will go down in strictly history as the most amazing partnership ever. So in sync with each other its a joy to behold."
