Fleur East revealed how she was left 'laughing' with her husband about their previous thoughts about becoming parents having now welcomed their precious bundle of joy into the world.
The Strictly Come Dancing star welcomed her first child with her husband Marcel Robin last month. Just a few months after confirming her pregnancy by stunning in a glamorous snap with her baby bump on full display, Fleur delighted her fans over the recent Easter weekend when she revealed she and her husband Marcel had welcomed their baby girl into the world.
They shared the first pictures of themselves with their little girl in which Fleur could be seen carrying their newborn in a baby sling as they took a trip out and about. In the caption of the post, Fleur confirmed they'd named their daughter Nova and that she made her entrance "via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor".

Hits Radio star Fleur has since been sharing updates and glimpses into her life as a new mum in the first few weeks of her daughter's life and recently shared how she was 'excited' by the delivery of a new stock of nappies.
"I'm officially a Mum! I'm getting excited about nappies!" the singer and presenter wrote with a crying laughing emoji alongside a video of her unboxing the delivery from Kit & Kin, the company founded by the Spice Girl's very own 'Baby Spice' Emma Bunton.
She also gave a glimpse inside Nova's nursery after adding an animal world map to the wall. Fleur and Marcel appeared to keep natural colours in Nova's very own room and clearly, an animal theme may be on the agenda. In a picture, a comfortable chair could be seen in the corner as Fleur said: "Side note, this nursing chair is the comfiest chair ever!! Seriously!"
But the new mum later finished her string of posts with a selfie of herself and Marcel. They could be seen smiling for the camera as Fleur said: "Us, laughing at past versions of ourselves who thought life with a newborn would be a breeze [crying laughing emoji]."
She said she's not ready to talk about the birth of her first child just yet as she returned to her radio show for the first time since going on maternity leave. The Strictly Come Dancing star caught up with her Hits Radio pal James Barr and stand-in host Angelica Bell on Monday (April 22).
During her chat with James, Angelica and Matt, Fleur brought her Hits Radio family up to date with her life as a new mum, having given birth to baby Nova just three weeks ago, and listeners were treated to a little gurgle from Nova herself.
"It’s so weird to talk to other adults - I’ve been talking in a baby voice for so many weeks now," Fleur said. "The first week was a complete blur, I was just a walking zombie, I didn’t know what was going on. I felt like I was a milk machine for seven days straight, but now I’m adjusting I feel a little bit more human. It’s going to take some time but I’m enjoying it a lot more now."
It is then when she commented: "I can't go into it [the birth] I need some time to get over it to be honest. It’s funny because there’s a spot in my living room that every time I walk past, I’m reminded of exactly where Nova was born and that makes it a little harder to get around!"
Fleur added: "I think she has the Fleur East vocals - her pitch and tone are very clear. When she starts crying it’s like OK those lungs are working - she can project very well... Loads of people say to me you’re never going to remember life without her, and I try to but it’s very hazy, it feels like it’s in the distant past. And it is weird now, I can’t imagine going day to day without Nova in my life. It’s very strange but amazing!"
