‘The Bear’ Season 3 Premiere Draws 5.4 Million Views In 4 Days

The Bear Season 3 is off to a roaring start. The premiere episode drew 5.4 million views globally on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and Disney+ in certain territories internationally, in its first four days of streaming, according to Disney. A view is defined as total stream time divided by runtime.

The debut episode, which aired last week, was the No. 3 most-watched season premiere ever, Disney says, as well as the No. 1 most watched FX season premiere ever and the No. 1 most-watched scripted series premiere ever.

Additionally, Season 3 continues to see an increase of 24% more views after four days compared to Season 2, according to Disney. Season 3 saw a significant boost from Hulu on Disney+ viewing and is the most viewed Hulu on Disney+ premiere since launch.

Season 3 will follow Carmy, Richie and Sydney as they work to elevate the titular restaurant, which transformed from a gritty sandwich shop to a finer dining destination. The daily challenges of working in the restaurant business present an uphill battle for the kitchen staff, and Carmy only gets more intense as his staff tries to match him.

Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson star in the half-hour series, with Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon in recurring roles.

The Bear was created by Christopher Storer, who is executive producer alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson and Hiro Murai. The series is produced by FX Productions.
