BEEF Season 2: Everything We Know About the Award-Winning Series’ Possible Return
The Season 2 news comes in the wake of BEEF Season 1, which starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, crushing awards season. After sweeping the Emmys last month, series creator Lee Sung Jin discussed the possibility of a second season.
“I feel like there are so many paths,” he told reporters. “It could stay limited. It was a very close-ended story, for sure. But if Netflix wanted to continue, it could also be anthology. It could be many things. It’s up to the great algorithm. We’re all waiting to hear.”
Lee touched upon a potential Season 2 at the Golden Globes as well. “We always pitched the season to buyers as an anthology series,” he said. “It was always going to be a new beef, new characters. But whether it stays limited or it returns as an anthology or we continue to exist, when they let me know, I’m sure you all will know as well.”
