Twitter user @sourkettle re-shared an interview clip from the actor recalling a story about trying to land a part at the beginning of their career.

“I was told [in] one of my first auditions ever… The director really liked me, but I didn’t get the part because I didn’t have the ‘Hollywood look,’” Ramsey explained in the interview. “That’s something that I’ve always found very interesting.”

Despite speculation that Ramsey would be recast on The Last of Us due to the time-jump taking place in season two, HBO has already confirmed that the actor will return as Ellie for the second season – which is expected to follow the events of The Last of Us Part II videogame.
