Big Brother 2023: Who is Will Best?ITV

It's official: Will Best and AJ Odudu have been announced as the new co-hosts of ITV's highly anticipated reboot of Big Brother.

AJ is no stranger to UK screens, having competed (and placed third) on the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, presented the latest relaunch of The Big Breakfast, as well as being a backstage reporter on The Voice UK and The Voice Kids.

She also has some experience in the Big Brother arena, thanks to her previous gig co-hosting the Bit On The Side spin-off alongside Rylan Clark in 2013.

Will Best, on the other hand, is perhaps a little less well-known. (Sorry, Will). So who is he? Where do you know him from? What was that thing he did with that other person?

Don't fret, we're here to help you out with that.

Will hails from London, where he was born in 1985. He's "a TV presenter with bundles of charm and a contagious passion for all things music, comedy, and youth culture," according to his contributor profile on HuffPost (yes, we really did the deep dive).

Will's first presenting gig was on Viva in 2010, where he co-hosted the music chat show Suck My Pop with Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh. He later voiced the MTV Top 20 chart on VIVA.

In 2011, Will joined the T4 family and presented the show every weekend until his run ended in 2012. During this time, he also took over from Rick Edwards as the monthly entertainment presenter on 4Music's The Crush.

In 2012 and 2013, Will co-hosted the iTunes Festival for Channel 4 and E4 alongside Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac, Lauren Laverne and Tom Ravenscroft, and he also hosted the E4 dating show Love Shaft.

After this, Simon Cowell personally selected Will to present You Generation, a YouTube show featuring celebrity interviews, music acts, and a monthly talent contest.

He went on to front Is This Rape? Sex on Trial, a well-received BBC Three documentary which tested to see if a group of British teens could determine whether a carefully produced drama about a sexual encounter was consensual or not.

His big prime-time break came with the ITV talent show Dance Dance Dance in 2017, which he co-hosted with Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon. Sadly, it didn't make it to a second series.

You may also have seen him on the 2022 series of Celebrity Coach Trip alongside his buddy and comedian Matt Richardson.

The Big Brother reboot is set to air in autumn 2023.
