The Beverley Gin Festival, featuring live bands, street food, a wide selection of gins, gin tasting sessions and much more, is all set to take place this weekend at Beverley Minster on Friday and Saturday, June 14th and 15th.

The festival's director, Rob Snaith, stated: "We have some of the very best local, British and international gins for residents and visitors to enjoy and there is live local entertainment all weekend, including two great bands, and mouth-watering street food."

Wictsun Distillery from Market Weighton will be offering distillery talks and tasters. They produce gin, rum and vodka and will be offering a variety of gins, including pink, orange, lemon and dry.

In addition to gin, the festival will also provide a selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, Prosecco and craft beer from Atom of Beverley and Hull.

Festival-goers can look forward to street food from The Blind Swine of Willerby, which Rob describes as "proper street food". They specialise in serving homemade, hot and tasty dishes including blue corn tortilla Shrimp Tacos, smoked pull pork Dirty Pig, salt and pepper fried halloumi Asian Persuasion, smoked frankfurter Dirty Dog, plus sides, all with special homemade sauces, marinades and coatings.

This year's music offering at the Beverley Gin Festival are two local bands, Turn Up the Sun on Friday night, and Little Kings on Saturday night. "Both bands play great, crowd-pleasing, sing along favourites and are well known on the local live music circuit," said Rob.

Additionally, table magician Rich Reynolds will be entertaining festival attendees during the Saturday afternoon sessions at the Minster.

Tickets start from £20 per person for each of the four sessions and include two drinks, a Beverley Minster-etched festival glass tumbler, a festival metal straw, a custom-designed Beverley Gin Festival programme guide and pen. To book, visit their website here.
