BGT's Amanda Holden will play a "lusty aristocrat" on ITV's Plebs
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has landed a new role in series 5 of ITV2's Plebs, playing a "lusty aristocrat" when the show returns later this year.
She joins the comedy along with a host of new additions, including Silent Witness star Emilia Fox, Blackadder's Sir Tony Robinson and EastEnders' Tracy Ann Oberman.
Amanda will play Rufina, an aristocrat at a banquet who sets her sights on Jason (Jonathan Pointing), "making him her plaything for the evening".

Fox will play the role of a detective and Robinson is an archeologist, while John Thomson, Kevin Bishop, Leo Gregory, Nigel Lindsay and Phil Davis also join.
Holden posted some pictures and a video from set earlier this week alongside co-star Tracy as filming got under way in Bulgaria.

The confirmed returning cast for series 5 includes Tom Rosenthal (Marcus), Ryan Sampson (Grumio), Tom Basden (writer, Aurelius), Ellie Taylor (Gloria), Maureen Lipman (Landlady), Karl Theobald (Landlord), Samantha Spiro (Sylvia) and Danny Webb (Lepidus).
Plebs aired its fourth series a year ago, with Joel Fry's Stylax departing the show during the first episode in a scene that divided viewers.
He was replaced by Pointing in the series, who has played happy-go-lucky builder Jason as the third member of the central gang ever since.
Plebs will return to ITV2 in the autumn.
