Big boost for Hanley as Piccadilly Arcade gets £348k investment

A company has 'fully established' its UK head office and training centre - right in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. Acorn Training has invested £348,000 in Piccadilly Arcade, in Hanley, after taking on four units.

Acorn Training was founded in Stoke-on-Trent and has nine other centres across the north west of England and the Midlands. But its head office is remaining in The Potteries.

The training centre spans three floors and boasts study classrooms, kitchens and offices.

Managing director Gareth Saldanha-Fallows said: “We are delighted to be fully established in the heart of Hanley, growing our presence, and providing opportunities. The renovation of Piccadilly Arcade demonstrates our investment in Hanley and is an important step towards helping more people to upskill and secure sustainable employment."
