Big Brother's Davina McCall has revealed which iconic twist from the show's history she thinks really pushed the reality TV series "to the edge".

On tonight's (June 18) Big Brother's Best Shows Ever, Davina and Rylan Clark-Neal revisited the 2005 series of Celebrity Big Brother, which featured a moment that would go down in BB history: Jackie Stallone's instantly iconic entrance to the Big Brother house on Day 3.

Jackie's arrival saw her come face-to-face with her son's – yes, that would be Sylvester Stallone – ex-wife Brigitte Nielsen, who was understandably shocked to see her former mother-in-law.

"Oh my god, it's Jackie!" Brigitte told the fellow housemates, as Jackie casually replied: "Yeah, Jackie."

Speaking to Rylan and Big Brother's Little Brother host Dermot O'Leary in between clips of the episode, Davina admitted that she thinks that the Jackie twist was one that one that really tested the limits of the show.

"This episode we're revisiting is an absolute classic," Davina said. "We pushed it to the edge, I think, on this one."

"I think the great thing about Jackie going into the house was the fact that we lobbed a bomb in there," Dermot added. "She offended everyone – she was completely oblivious. She didn't even really know where she was."

Earlier this week, Davina also shared her favourite twist from Big Brother's history, pointing to non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton's entry to the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2006, when she had to convince the housemates that she was a member of a fictional pop group.

"This is still one of my favourite things, putting in a non-celebrity," Davina remembered.

"I'll never forget, rumours swirling of a civilian going in [to Celebrity Big Brother]," Rylan added.

Big Brother: Best Shows Ever airs on E4.
