Big Zuu creates pizza for Zizzi

Big Zuu has undergone training with Zizzi's chefs.

The 27-year-old star has been refining his Italian cooking skills under the watchful eye of the restaurant's culinary experts and has recorded a seven-part series which invites viewers to cook along with some of the chain's classic dishes with a twist.

The audience will learn to make Cheesy Chilli Garlic Bread, King Prawn Spiedini, Calzone Pollo Spinaci, Casareccia Pollo Piccante, Caramelised Banana Waffle, and Zillionaire’s Slice, washed down with a Strawberry Zing cocktail, as they cook along with Big Zuu, and can share their creations with the hashtag #ZuuZillionaire.

In addition, the Bafta-award winning star has also created a unique pizza, Big Zuu’s Zillionaire Rustica, which is now available in Zizzi restaurants and features two halves, one side creamy, with spring onions, mozzarella, balsamic onions and goat’s cheese on a white base and the other spicy - spinach, flame roasted peppers, roquito peppers, harissa, spring onions, rocket and mozzarella on a tomato base.

He said: “It's been lit in the Zizzi kitchen and learning how to cook some of my favourite dishes! Let me tell you NOW, you've never tasted anything like The Big Zuu Zillionaire Rustica – a Zuu-ified pizza packed full of goodness!"

Big Zuu has teamed up with Zizzi to launch the Zillionaire's Club loyalty platform, which rewards customers with Zs for spending over £10 on each visit to a Zizzi restaurant or when they use click and collect and purchase Zizzi for delivery.

He added: "The Zillionaires’ Club is where it's at, giving rewards like free food every-time you visit a Zizzi – just what is needed right now.”

Zs can be exchanged for ‘perkz’ from the menu including food and drink. With each visit, Zillionaire club members have the chance to earn a greater number of Zs. With the first visit being 10 Zs, the second 20 Zs, the third 30 and the fourth 40.

And after their fourth visit, customers qualify for a surprise perk including free food and big prizes such as holidays.

On Wednesday (02.11.22), Big Zuu will take part in a love cook-along at 5pm.

With the Zizzi Zillionaires’ Club now live, customers can start earning Zs straight away in restaurant, via click and collect and delivery by scanning the QR code, which can be stored in their Apple or Google Wallets.
