Billy Ray Cyrus leaks love note after Firerose accuses him of 'abuse'

Billy Ray Cyrus has leaked a love note after Firerose accused him of "abuse".

The country singer claims his estranged wife begged him to reconcile a few days after she filed for divorce to end their marriage of seven months.

He released a handwritten love note allegedly written by Firerose - born Johanna Rose Hodges - in response to her legal team accusing him of "extreme verbal, emotional and psychological abuse" in a recent court filing.

"When Wife would attempt to voice certain concerns, Husband would often call her a 'selfish f**king b**ch' and continually alleged that she was using him," the complaint read.

Now, Billy Ray, 62, has fired back with the leaked love letter.

"I miss you more than I can possibly explain in words Baby," the handwritten note, obtained by Page Six, reads. "Please let's work this out and not become anything but closer out of this hellish experience... I need you. I love you. I am so sorry."

The outlet also a obtained text message allegedly sent by Firerose, 37, to Billy Ray in the days following her divorce filing on 23 May.

"I'm praying with my entire soul that we can find each other again today," the message said. "I feel completely loss & miss you more than I can explain."
