Blink-182 cancel their tour with Linkin Park

Following the death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington earlier this week, Blink-182 have announced that a planned collaboration tour between the two bands has been cancelled.

The official Blink-182 Twitter page announced the news, with a statement explaining the decision to call off the tour.

"Blink-182 is wrecked by the loss of our friend and amazing musician Chester Bennington," the post says.

"We could never imagine playing Blinkin Park without his incredible talent and voice. It just would not be possible.

"We send our deepest sympathies to his family, bandmates, friends, and fans. Refunds will be available at the place of purchase."

Chester Bennington was 41 when he died by suicide on Thursday (July 20) at the Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles.

Linkin Park have also cancelled all the upcoming dates on their One More Light Tour, with the official Live Nation Twitter account recently breaking the news.

"Refunds avail at point of purchase. Our thoughts to all affected," the tweet says.
