Blizzard Brings Hazardous Driving Conditions to Texas Panhandle

Blizzard conditions hit Amarillo, Texas, on March 17, with heavy snow and strong wind gusts impacting the city, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS said visibility was decreased to less than half a mile, with wind speeds of up to 64 miles per hour reported in the area.

The NWS warned drivers to “stay off the roads” amid “zero visibility.”
