Yobs in Grimsby spotted in bare-chested broad daylight brawl metres from mum and kids

There was chaos on the streets of Grimsby yesterday when two met got stuck into a full-on fist fight in front of shocked onlookers.

The fisticuffs broke out metres from a mum and her child, who was wrapped up in a pram.

But the chilly conditions weren’t an issue for one of the men, who was shirtless for the very public punch-up.

The pair exchanged violent punches and kicks in the clash outside a barber’s shop at 10:30am on Thursday.

The fracas began on the pavement but spilled onto the road, forcing vehicles to swerve out of the way.

Blood dripped on the pavement as horrified onlookers watched the violent scenes in Freeman Street.

A local shopkeeper who called police said: “It was shocking. It is disgusting to see this sort of thing going on in broad daylight in front of children.”

Another witness from the Lincolnshire town said: “This had been brewing for a while. There was an argument earlier, but it got serious.”
