A bottle shop and restaurant in a seaside town is on track for an exciting refurbishment and rebrand.

The Quarter Deck in Sheringham, which opened in 2022, is located opposite the North Norfolk Railway and a stone's throw from the mainline station.

This business will shut for three weeks from Saturday, June 29 and it will reopen as The Lines End Freehouse, with the same owners Will Chandler and Logan Coatesworth.

Their neighbouring sister business The Gangway, which is a café bar, will continue to operate as normal, with plans to merge the gardens.

The Lines End pub will not serve food but there will be lots of new beers and it will have a traditional feel.

Mr Chandler said: "It will put the business in a stronger position financially to make sure it lasts long term in this economic environment."

Dan French, the current general manager at The Gangway, will be running The Lines End.

A post by The Quarter Deck on social media said: "We have loved every second of feeding you all, but we have realised our real passion is selling some awesome beers."
