Brad Pitt slams Angelina Jolie in legal documents

Angelina Jolie shocked the world when she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt earlier this year, with the split soon becoming incredibly messy.

With Brad only allowed supervised visits with his six children, and rumour rife that the children had stopped calling him dad, the Hollywood actor maintained a dignified silence as speculation surrounding his personal life rumbled on.

However, in legal documents obtained by TMZ, Brad has slammed his estranged wife of compromising the privacy of their brood; 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh and eight-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.

Filing a memorandum to his request to have paperwork relating to the custody of their children sealed, Brad alleges that Angelina: “appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children’s best interest and she is attempting to clear the way to put in the public eye any allegations she can, without regard to the impact on the minor children”.

The document goes on to claim that Angelina has “exposed the children by making public the names of their therapists and other mental health professionals”, adding that the 41-year-old actress has “no self-regulating mechanism” to prevent the sensitive information from becoming public.

The documents cite the re-release and filing of documents that contained private information as evidence, noting: “Although she [Angelina] had already made them public, she did it again”.

The documents have been submitted for a judge’s approval but Angelina’s legal team will first have the opportunity to respond to Brad’s request.

Brad previously requested to have an emergency hearing to rule that all documents regarding their children remained sealed, with his request being turned down.

Angelina’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, previously explained that Angelina had turned down the request because Brad’s team hadn’t consulted her first.
