Brandon Lee has offered to pay for father Tommy Lee's rehab treatment after posting a video of the drummer unconscious in his underwear.

The son of the Motley Crue drummer lashed out on social media after his father took a swipe at him, listing various expenses he had covered for him during his life.

In a post by the 55-year-old musician he listed large sums of money he had spent on Brandon.

He wrote: “Rehab for son: $130,000. Party for son’s 21st birthday last year: $40,000. Medical Bills after son knocks his father unconscious and uses “alcoholism” as a scapegoat: $10,000. Son acting like a victim on social media on father’s day: Priceless. I’m out [microphone] drop!” [Sic]

Brandon was quick to take a swipe at his father by “thanking” him for the “best thing” he did.

The 22-year-old wrote: “I thank my Dad for paying for my treatment. It’s the best thing he has ever done for me. Today I am almost two years sober.

“Every day that goes by I feel ever more grateful. My clear mind has allowed me to do a lot with this time. So much so that I would like to offer to pay for his treatment.”

The posts come after Brandon shared a video of his father unconscious in his underwear following a post on the difficulties of fatherhood.

Marking Father’s Day, Tommy shared a post on Instagram honouring his own father, as well as acknowledging his own experiences of raising children.

He wrote: “Being a father ain’t easy! I’m so tired of the fake s*** I keep seeing all over IG… let’s get real: It’s a rollercoaster ok?

He continued: “Sometimes I feel like I failed as a father, because my kids don’t know the value of things.”

The musician’s son quickly responded on Instagram, alluding to an altercation between the duo earlier this year.

“Remember what happened last time you said this s***? night night,” he wrote.

“Someone like you couldn’t raise a man like me. Just move on dude... WE ALL HAVE or I’ll put you back to f****** sleep.”
