‘Breaking Bad’ star breaks bread ahead of Capitol visit

SPOTTED: “Breaking Bad” star Dean Norris breaking bread — and braving being far outnumbered — at an all-women dinner at Cafe Milano in Georgetown on Monday.

Norris, who played Drug Enforcement Administration agent Hank Schrader on the AMC series and its spinoff “Better Call Saul,” was a special guest at the “Dine ‘n Dish” event organized by legendary Washington publicist Janet Donovan.

One of the attendees at the bipartisan women’s group got a laugh out of Norris after noting the actor’s resemblance to former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, a co-chair of President Biden’s campaign.

Norris is heading to the Capitol on Wednesday as part of a delegation representing the Creative Coalition, an arts advocacy nonprofit, and AARP, aimed at raising awareness about family caregiving.
